Castleside Killiney

Castleside Killiney is by Castleside JJ, a sire of multiple performance ponies. She is out of Doon Flower (Ard Ri Cunga).

Over the years, Killiney has produced some exceptional ponies for us. Among her offspring are two approved Class 1 Stallions: Carnakilly Finn and White Diamond. Carnakilly Finn, a former Irish Green Hunter Champion at the Clifden Connemara Pony Show, is now competing in showjumping in Sweden. White Diamond, now in the UK, has qualified for both the Royal International Horse Show (RIHS) and the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS).

Other notable progeny include Carnakilly Pom Pom, the 2019 Scottish Pony Loose Jumping Champion, Bally G. Ash, with numerous wins including multiple Balmoral Show Connemara Ridden Champion titles and the Supreme Champion at the International Connemara Pony Show, and Silver Earl, the 4/5-year-old Champion at the International Connemara Pony Show. Carnakilly Golden Girl had a successful showing career as a 3-year-old with limited outings, earning a win at the Midlands Connemara Pony Show, a 2nd place at Clifden Show, and 2nd in the All Ireland 3yo filly class at Ballinasloe. Golden Girl has since continued her success under saddle.

We have retained two of her daughters: Carnakilly Coral by Dexter Leam Pondi and Carnakilly Golden Girl by Magherafadda Lad.
